From goals to gold records?
A few years back Fil-Brit heartthrob Philip James Placer Younghusband (along with his brother James) played with the reserve team of the Chelsea Football Club…the real Chelsea FC in England.
That was until someone who played a bit too much of the video game Football Manager learned of the Younghusband brothers’ lineage and eligibility to play for the Philippines. Having a Filipina mother quaifies them to be a member of the National Football team and so they played for Pinoy Pride in the 2005 SEA Games.
Then modeling and showbiz beckoned and most recently, the 2nd season of Celebrity Duets. He was just eliminated but his fanbase has grown rapidly and for sure he’ll be more visible in the days to come.
