Jealousy can be a major part of any relationship but at what point does it become silly and unhealthy?
A Clinical Psychologist shed light on this problem.
Primarily, jealousy is a normal human behaviour but there is such a thing as overjealousy.
A Sign of Overjealousy is when it is unrealistic; when it arises from the most inanimate of instances. When it starts to interfere with everyday life, it can be considered overjealousy.
To handle the problem, you have to realize, as a couple, that the issue should be discussed. Think thoroughly if you did something or instigated a situation for your partner to be overjealous.
Then, try talking about it and look for solutions. You could also seek professional help.
But do keep in mind that if the overjealousy is making you unhappy to be in your relationship, then perhaps it’s time to say goodbye and move on.

Jealousy from the root word jealous… It means selfishness, no trust, not sure, childish, young lovers.. This is my definition. Normal for the young lovers and single.. I felt this when I was in my teen age life. We are talking 15-25 years old. When you felt jealous, it’s hurt , when it;s too much it will end the relationship. It means you dont love each other. Well I lost my first love because he dont trust me. I am a very attractive girl back in High school, and i love challenging. My ex- BF thought that I am cheating on him.I join the sorrority and became an officer in the C.A.T. I broke up with him bec he argue with me so much. That was 24 years ago. He felt regret everytime he seen me. I was in 2nd year college when he married his ex-GF. I became a nurse and now I am here in Calif, married to a Puertorican for 15 years.
