Understanding Umbrellas
Some people take pride in their umbrellas; especially those who own the types that open and collapse with the same switch. You could have handpicked it or you might have just received it as a corporate giveaway. It comes in various sizes, colors and designs. Some even match it with their apparel.
With the help of Kriz Baclit, a psychologist, Suzi and guest host Sunshine Dizon discovered the types of personalities that carry the different types of umbrellas.
Kids love the bright colored ones, usually with cartoon characters and most probably they have matching raincoats and/or boots that go with it.
Outgoing teenagers prefer carrying those multiple fold umbrellas that one can carry easily.
Those working in corporate offices carry those really petite umbrellas, which can fold and fit into really petite pouches so they can fit it in neatly with the rest of the stuff in their bags.
Parents prefer the big umbrellas so they could accommodate their children. Those individuals who carry big umbrellas reflect an open personality according to Ms. Baclit as they seem to be ready to take other people under in case the rain suddenly pours.
Males generally prefer the big open and close types, plain of course.
