Friends to Lovers to Friends again
Starstruck talents LJ Reyes and Mike Tan were on the show this morning to share the story of their close (and closed?) relationship.
As batchmates from the second batch of Starstruck, their friendship started during their stint on the program. That friendship turned into a serious relationship, which lasted for 10 months and now after their romantic relationship they have learned to be friends once again.
Ms. Pia Nazareno – Acevedo from The Love Institute explains that good or best friends that turn into lovers are ideal relationships because they already know each other and will find it easy to understand one another. People in this kind of relationship, and as with any kind of relationship, should always trust and understand their partners. Try and listen more and learn how to compromise.
Friends turned into lovers can be tricky because they might know things about one another that they probably shouldn’t, which can be different in cases like those from acquaintances straight to courtship. The best foot is always forward, so dark secrets may not be revealed until further in the relationship.
Though ideal, not all best friends that become lovers end up together but that old friendship can be achieved again. Allow time and space to heal all wounds.
I hope UH gets LJ as a guest co-host next week. She’s very sexy and refreshing, especially when she wears miniskirts and shorts.
