The Language of Flowers
Mr. Romeo Esquierdo of E. Centeno’s Flower Shop shared the art of giving flowers.
For Roses, Red means Love so make sure you mean it when you give it. White symbolizes purity of the heart and intentions, that’s “pogi points” for those who need it. Yellow stands as a peace offering, so give it to that special someone you can’t live without.
Other flowers can also do wonders; Stargazers, for example, symbolize purity and sympathy – no wonder.
Carnations stand for love and beauty.
Anthriums represent hospitality.
Numbers talk as well; 1 flower means love at first sight, 2 is waiting, 3 means…yes, I’m sure you know already, 100 means devoted to you, 999 means everlasting love.
Romeo reminds recipients that you should put your flowers in a vase right away and change the water daily for it to last as long as it should.
