Pedal Power

People who’ve learned to ride a bicycle will always feel nostalgic when they ride again after a long time.

So if you’re one of those who simply forgot why you stopped riding your bike but know you still can, maybe it’s time to get a new one.

Ms. Hazel Angeles from Cycle Shack suggests getting a mountain bike, even for city riding, because of all the potholes you’ll come across.

She also suggests the proper tire tread for urban riding.

Mr. Edmund Mangaser of All Terra Bike Shop brought along a Bamboo Bike, yes the frame is made of Bamboo. He says that bikes like these go for around $2,000 in the USA but here they try to sell it at around P12,000, pretty good huh!

He also brought along this folding bike that can fit in your car’s trunk. So if ever you’re late for a meeting and the traffic is hopeless just park your car, unfold the bike and breeze through traffic while some drivers ponder, “why didn’t I think of that.”

Don’t forget to wear safety gear!
