Summer Business Tips
Halo-halo stalls are abundant during this season. This is one of the more common summer ventures of the Pinoy entrepreneur.
Mr. Armand Bengco of the Colayco Foundation shared some tips on how to start a small business. Based on his own research within his neighbourhood, halo-halo vendors started with a capital of around P500. With this they can make approximately 30 containers, which they sell for P30 each. They can earn P900 gross.
Mr. Bengco would like to remind entrepreneurs that making a sale is no reason to rejoice right away, make sure that you sell enough to earn profits first.
With that he advises would-be entrepreneurs to choose a business according to their passions or at least something they know very much about. Don’t forget to research if there is a market for your business idea. You should also reasearch for the latest in terms of trends or technology that could help you with your business.
Lyn adds that you should also take your business seriously.
